Description qualifications: boeing brazil is seeking mid-Career electrical power systems engineer reporting to the electrical power systems team manager of boeing brazil, working out of the são jose dos campos, brazil office. The mid-Career electrical power systems engineer will work with the global electrical power systems engineering team to support the development and certification of transport category airplanes. Review documentation and generate artifacts to demonstrate compliance with relevant regulatory and customer requirements, related to power generation, distribution functions, lighting, optics, and proximity sensing. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements. Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware designs and interface specifications. Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements. Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle. Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs. This position will require occasional national and/or international travel. This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic qualifications (required skills/experience): some experience with electrical engineering. Fluent in both written and verbal english. Must be legally able to work in brazil. Bachelors degree in electrical/electronic engineering, systems engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering or aerospace/aeronautical engineering, with registration at regional council of engineering in brazil (crea). Preferred qualifications (education/experience): experience with product development life cycle and applicable regulations. Knowledge in safety assessment standards. Some experience with supplier environmental qualification standards. Familiar with agile methodology. Relocation: this position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
