Description qualifications: boeing brazil is seeking senior multi-Skill engineering manager reporting to the engineering director, working out of the são jose dos campos, brazil office. The senior multi-Skill engineering manager will lead high-Performing engineering teams providing a variety of technical solutions and complex project oversight in support of existing and future products. Successful candidate will manage a team of engineers and mid-Level managers responsible for the following statements of work. Aircraft structure, mechanical and electrical systems engineering and payloads (interiors) engineering. Position responsibilities: manages employees and first-Level managers performing engineering and technical activities in the area of aircraft structure, mechanical, electrical and electronics systems engineering and payloads (interiors) engineering. Efficient management of the team through the delegation of authority and responsibility to team members and holding them accountable for performance in regards to product development, schedule, and quality. Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives. Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Applies engineering best practices to ensure delivery of first-Time quality for engineering data. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-Level managers. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic qualifications (required skills/experience): must have existing rights to work in brazil must have a degree in engineering must be registered or eligible to register with the engineering and agronomy regional council (conselho regional de engenharia e agronomia crea) proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the english language experience in management or leadership role senior level of experience in structures, payloads or systems engineering preferred qualifications (education/experience): masters degree in an engineering related field or business administration (mba) experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues in an engineering environment relocation: this position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
