Description qualifications: boeing brazil is seeking a mid-Career avionics engineer - Communication management system reporting to the avionics manager, working out of the são josé dos campos office. The mid-Career avionics engineer - Communication management system with strong passion or interest in aviation and space. On this role, the selected candidate will join the boeing commercial aviation engineering group being member of the avionics team and working with development of communication management systems for 777x and 787 platforms/ position responsibilities develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs this position will require occasional national and/or international travel this position is hybrid/telecommuting. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic qualifications (required skills/experience): must have existing rights to work in brazil must have a degree in engineering fluent in both written and verbal english must be registered or eligible to register with the engineering and agronomy regional council (conselho regional de engenharia e agronomia - Crea) good understanding of datalink network and subnetwork access, datalink applications and routing for airplane systems preferred qualifications (education/experience): knowledge in future air navigation applications experience in systems and avionics engineering communication management system experience - Datalink experience with systems testing, data analysis experience with avionics architecture, do-178c avionics experience, dal a or b systems experience with airplane safety analysis - System safety analysis (fha, fta, fmea) development assurance arp4754a experience on part 25 certification process knowledge of faa / easa certification experience with model-Based development tools demonstrated project management skills piloting experience (private/commercial pilots license) relocation: -This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
