Mro buyer the mro buyer is responsible for the support and execution of site procurement for our new plant in zacoalco, jalisco, ensuring smooth operations and efficient supply chain management. Our team the global indirect category management team excels in their negotiation skills, vast product knowledge, and their ability to work collaboratively as a team while providing exceptional customer service. What you will do efficiently execute daily purchasing activities on assigned goods and services ensuring quality and sustainability and meeting internal stakeholders business requirements. Initiate ideas and actions to improve purchasing efficiency, seek opportunities for total cost improvement across supply base through vendor consolidation, volume leveraging and commercial negotiation. Continuously develop technical expertise in procurement, including a deep understanding of the supplier base and comprehensive knowledge of product cost factors, to drive strategic sourcing. Lead the recruitment, evaluation, and selection of suppliers through market sourcing, identification of supplier capabilities, the creation of rfx documents, proposal review, risk analysis, and complex commercial contract negotiation. Collaborate with global category management in supplier negotiations and contract development to drive strategic sourcing initiatives and achieve optimal value for the organization. Ensures company compliance with contracts, sourcing policies and preferred suppliers. Communicates category updates to all stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-Making. Who you are (basic qualifications) experience in sourcing and contract development and negotiation working knowledge in procurement practices and processes ability to communicate with business stakeholders and vendors in english working knowledge of a P2P (procure to pay) system (sap ariba, basware, coupa) what will put you ahead bachelors degree experience using coupa at koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
