1) ensure supply and manage commodity risk Ensure best in class supply: work closely with the business to determine current and future sourcing needs Driving commercial work and ensuring transparency on risk exposure Managing volatility as a partner to the business Build deep commodity expertise and industry knowledge across the major spend categories Mitigate risks and support the team to mitigate risks in their categories by way of e.G. Hedging, launching savings projects, initiating recipe changes, collaborating with peers to remove blockers to these projects Oversee supplier approval, supplier development, and supply quality management with technical leads 2) create competitive advantage Drive annual productivity improvements in spend categories within the sub-Region Champion and secure total cost of ownership reductions (pips), launching cross-Functional cost improvement initiatives Driving innovation through and with the supply base e.G., new materials, new technologies Developing and executing best in class category strategies Drive improvements in working capital management through supplier term and stock management programs in collaboration with our colleagues in the supply chain teams 3) developing a best-In-Class procurement team & process Leads and guides team members identifies training needs for own team sets and reviews kpis provides feedback in order to motivate team and build a performance-Oriented work culture Ensures that team members have the required competencies and skills to deliver on the procurement functional objectives while managing career development in function and for the wider business Supports the development of the kerry latam procurement team working in conjunction with the latam director & north latam lead (brasil and north cone) Enables & encourages collaboration across the regional and global procurement frameworks at kerry 4) sourcing & category strategies Oversees development and execution of strategies according to the category management approach for all categories Ensures early involvement of kerry perspective into global category strategies and ensures regional compliance to category strategies Oversees the end-To-End sourcing, commercial tendering, contract awards and management process Oversee and as appropriate participate in negotiations, supplier relationship management and performance management 5) business connect & others Material and imas (indirect materials and services) sourcing Builds the connections and initiatives with the wider kerry group procurement team as well as other functions within the organization Involvement in acquisition due diligence process and integration of acquisitions #J-18808-Ljbffr.
