Job details description the marketing director will work inpartnership with hq and the country manager to develop, manage, andexecute the strategic direction of all brands (monster energy, reignand burn). They will ensure structured alignment to the brands globalmarketing standards, objectives, strategies, and philosophies. Thisindividual will be responsible for developing, coordinating, andexecuting marketing programs, launch activities, event management,sales promotions, partner portal management, communications, budget,and business growth abroad and ensure it is aligned with the . This role will require close collaboration with the globalmarketing teams, region marketing managers, international and localsales teams and distribution partners, product management andsupporting departments to accelerate all monster brand and businessdevelopment across brazil territory. The marketing director willintegrate key brand platforms - Action sports, gaming andmusic&lifestyle into key sales initiatives to leverage and build brandawareness for monster energy through diligent trade marketing andintegrated digital leverage platforms. Essential job functions: -Oversee planning, creating, implementing, and measuring the success ofcomprehensive marketing, communications and public relations programsthat will enhance monster energys sales, image and position withinthe marketplace.- Responsible for the achievement of marketing goalsand financial objectives. Ensure that evaluation systems are in placerelated to these goals and objectives and report progress to the director and senior management team. - Develop short - Andlong-Term plans and budgets and monitor progress, assure adherence,and evaluate performance. - Recommend short - And long-Term goals andobjectives to the vp. - Work with senior staff and department staff todevelop and maintain a strategic perspective and ensure timelyexecution of all strategies, projects, programs, and tactics. - Planand coordinate organizational activities, establishing priorities andtimelines to meet designated goals and objectives at both the regionaland country level, leading the local marketing teams and facilitatinginternal and external communications between key stakeholders. -Maintain a climate that attracts, retains and motivates personnel ineach market, and recruit, train, appraise, supervise, support,develop, and guide qualified personnel to further monster energysimage and goals. - Responsible for representing the distributorsconcerns and requirements at business reviews and marketing / trademarketing meetings. Launch plan for the distributor. - Mainactivities: 1. Event execution - Execute all events at all levels,including grassroots brand events that are relevant to monster energy,reign and burn brands & our key targeted consumers. - 2. Relationshipdevelopment - Entrench yourself & monster energy portfolio in thelocal sport & culture scenes relevant to key targeted & maintain relationships with opinion leaders in your marketfor the key image building scenes in sport, gaming, music & local network of opinion leaders, develop new ideas that bringthe brand to life through local image building scenes in sport, music& culture. - 3. Innovation and idea development - Ideas are spawned onthe ground at events during interaction with opinion leaders. Theseideas will be retained and shared and tested for potential withmarketing team. - 4. Activate monster energy and all brands events &properties - Activate & leverage global, national & regional events &properties that fit within established local market business plan-Leverage local media merchandising opportunities - 5. Branding -Ensure that all branding/ logo use is acceptable at least at allevents and activations and is approved and under the direction of thedirector of marketing. - 6. Event sampling-Carry out large scale,event-Based product sampling operations - 7. Budget control - Controland assure efficient spending of assigned budget in brazil - 8. Socialmedia - Grow social media fans in facebook &twitter through differentactivities or promotions and develop branded content videos withathletes / ambassadors working closely with digital / pr brazilmanager - 9. Promotional items - Search different promotional toincrease sales. Manage promotional items inventory & logistics tomaximize brands exposure. - 10. Manage athletes, ambassadors andpartners to have best performance and brand awareness amplificationthrough earned and paid media (contracts, management, 360 plans).11.International npd - Review new product development cases and collectsignatures. 12. Imported brand items/gears - Work directly withlicensing and apparel corporate team and determine what premium itemsare relevant to brazil to increase sales. Determine volumes and makesure we meet our trimester deadlines.
