Customer care supervisor responsibilities: • reporting in to the customer care manager, oversee day-to-day management of 8-10 customer care agents • responsible for tracking key performance indicators and ensuring our commitment to quality service is met • serve as escalation point of contact for customer care team lead and team members • under the guidance of the customer care manager, partner across the customer care team with other department leads, supervisors and managers to ensure best practices/learnings are visible and being leveraged; apply insights gained to continuously improve • responsible for performance management of customer care agents, including preparing and delivering performance reviews, development planning and providing coaching and feedback • assist the customer care manager with interviews/talent acquisition efforts as needed requirements: • 5+ years customer service experience (or equivalent experience) preferred, experience in a leadership role a plus • experience in or strong interest in the software and technology industry preferred • experience in customer relationship management tools such as salesforce.com is preferred • experience in enterprise resource planning tools such as oracle is preferred • ability to quickly respond, efficiently manage time and shift from one task to another while managing daily priorities • excellent business communication skills (spoken and written) • advanced problem solving/troubleshooting skills • ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms • proficiency in microsoft office suite • for those roles requiring specific language capabilities: role requires specific language capabilities: fluent in english and portuguese and/or spanish (both written and spoken) is required
