The mission of the global public policy & government affairs team is to develop and advocate for solutions for pressing high technology issues and to promote a political, legislative, and regulatory environment that supports growth and innovation for our 1. Assist the head of brazil public policy to build strategy and advise the company on emerging public policy matters to ensure the success of the teams goals in brazil2. Represent tiktok to elected officials, government agencies, ministers, as well as civil society entities and academic leaders engaged in policy making issues of importance to tiktok and the people who use the service.3. Represent tiktok at high tech industry gatherings, trade associations and coalition meetings.4. Proactively identify emerging and significant policy issues, alert relevant internal teams and address any issues, helping to fashion the best solutions for the issues caused by the tech development itself5. Monitor political and social events in brazil, and work with cross-Functional teams to leverage opportunities or mitigate risks6. Work closely with trust & safety, communications, legal, and product teams on the development and integration of key public policy projects7. Provide front-Line support on issues requiring engagement, solving problems, and escalating to internal colleagues as needed.8. Maintain and develop a strong network of third-Party public interest groups, industry associations and academics engaged in technology policy issues9. Carry-Out research and reporting on domestic and international policy issues relevant to the company10. Assess implications of and advise on product and feature launches within 1. 7+ years dedicated professional experience with government, politics and technology policy or related civil society experience with knowledge across all such disciplines.2. Outstanding judgment, persuasive and lobbying skills, creativity, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-Paced, and often uncertain environment.4. Deep experience working across multiple functions, influencing, and collaborating with others to successfully implement programs and initiatives history of successful cross-Functional team and leadership collaboration.5.
