Life medical underwriter life medical underwriter responsibilities: work with the head of underwriting of the region and support/advice colleagues in munich re offices on uw-Life processes and assessment of facultative business, focused in the brazilian market. Assessment of risks in life insurance and riders (disability, accident, critical illness, ltc, etc.) based on medical, financial and non medical aspects (occupation, pastimes, residential, lifestyle) active support to the product development initiatives contribution for assessment and approval of claims maintenance and improvement of internal risk assessment guidelines maintenance and improvement of mira (mr online uw manual) active participation in development, structuring and implementation of projects related to traditional and automated underwriting (uw rules, uw engineer, rulebooks for point of sale and tele interview, testing cases) active participation in uw international community of munich re close cooperation with the central uw & claims department in munich active contribution in education and training initiatives related to uw (research, publications, presentations, documentation and training) and other marketing activities analysis of existing and new business process related to her/his area of responsibility profile: working experience as life medical underwriter with a direct insurance company or reinsurer for a minimum of 5 years fluent spoken and written business portuguese (preferably native speaker) is required. Good knowledge of spanish and english will be appreciated. University degree or high school diploma.
