What are you going to do?Lead and manage region cost reduction activities on non-Centrally led purchased commodities and services (coordinated and local categories). This includes the development and management of the procurement strategy for these categories. Region head of procurement will be accountable for meeting the category and region/countries targets. Foster synergies and share best practices within the region and group (cma cgm). For centrally led categories (so-Called integrated categories), responsible for ensuring execution and implementation of global category strategies in his / her region. Set up the right procurement organization in various areas to keep the overall department as cost efficient as possible (based on global procurement kpis in terms e.G. # of sourcing initiative / year / fte or spend managed / fte, # of e-Auction / sourcing, accuracy of the savings tracking) and in line with the global procurement strategy which is to maximize the level of spend control by procurement up to 80-90%. Lead and manage procurement staff:build the right procurement team (recruitment, training, staffing and retention) build individual development plans with skills plans and performance targets including kpis operational leadership (motivation, delegation, communication, conflict management) potential assessment, development, and career planning. Ensure region / country teams within the region conduct supplier management according to corporate standards and provide feedback concerning suppliers to global procurement and internal business partners. Establish and maintain clear communication channels with key stakeholders (region/country management, operations, other functions) through regular business review meetings. Ensure awareness of procurement achievements and projects across the organization (procurement newsletters, intranet etc.). Implement effective and efficient processes and systems across the end-To-End process (S2P, srm). Set-Up and follow up with finance on kpis and detailed reports on region/countries spend overview, vendor landscape, payment terms, po adoption etc. Participate in the development of the procurement community within ceva logistics (e.G. Procurement academy project, procurement management board, global leadership on a category). What are we looking for?Masters degree in purchasing, business administration, finance, engineering. Minimum of 10 years of working experience in international procurement. Performance-Driven and results-Oriented. Excellent negotiation skills. Pragmatic, hands-On, pro-Active mentality. Fast learner. Innovative thinker (curious to find new solutions). Ability to work in a dynamic environment, a self-Starter. Excellent communication skills. Team player. Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
