The short-Term goal is to deliver 2gwp of renewableassetstocommercial operation by 2026 with more than 500mwp ofsolarcommencingconstruction in 2023. The head of delivery brazil willbe responsiblefordeveloping and leading the delivery organizationcomprising shellstaff, ownersengineers, consultants and contractorsfor the design,construction, commissioningand handover of onshorerenewable powerprojects. The core delivery team comprises of epcmanagers, projectdelivery engineers and delivery contracts andprocurement,interconnection and logistics professionals. The brazildelivery teammembers are based in rio de janeiro and sao isexpected to establish excellent and constructiveworkingrelationshipswith 3rd party contractors, and to determine howbest to balancethedistribution of risk and value between(Informação Confidencial)and thecontractors so thatrgs globalvalue and growth objectives areexpeditiously achieved. Keyresponsibilities:build and lead the brazil deliveryteam. Coordinateclosely andconstructively with brazil core team of businessdevelopersandengineers to deliver country business targets. Managesolar andonshore windproject delivery safely ensuring schedule, costandquality targets are met. Establish, maintain and continuouslyimprove delivery discipline practices and strategy. Contribute toglobaldelivery a strong network with solar/windepcs, oemequipment suppliers, technicalconsultants and the shell team and project withauthorities, gridoperatorsand stakeholders. Strong working knowledge ofelectricitynetwork andsystem operator requirements within brazil. Rapidlydevelopa workingknowledge of permitting, licensing and grid connectionrequirements in brazil. Embed goal zero safety mindset in deliveryteams andcontractors. Work withthe global head of delivery &engineering and delivery leadership team to develop processes, toolsand ways ofworking thatallows the onshore renewables delivery model toscale ata rate that matches theres growth ambitions. What we need fromyou? Demonstrated experience in deliveringor managing delivery oflargemulti mwp utility-Scale photovoltaic projectsincludinghvinterconnection scope. Experience in delivering photovoltaicprojectsin the latin america regionpreferred, particularly in and battery storage deliveryexperience is a plus, priorityissolar pv. Must have at least 7 years of practicalexperience insitemanagement gained inside or externally to shell. More than 10years in shell or renewables contractor operational, projectmanagement and/ordeliveryroles is preferred. A strong preference forcandidates thathave multiple years ofexperience in preparing tendersparticularlyfrom the perspective of a constructioncontractor. Solidexperience inmanaging contractors, technical consultants,ownersengineers andindependent engineers in the renewables,construction orpowerindustry. Solid experience in contractornegotiations includingdispute resolution. Solidexperience in thetechno-Economicoptimisation of projects. Solid understanding ofprojecteconomics,risk management, value chain and project inmanaging and influencing other corporate disciplines(e.G. Legal,procurement, hr). Knowledge of the solar/wind/batterystorage market latin america and particularly in brazil, includingcompetitivelandscape and market rules.
