The short-Term goal is to deliver 2gwp of renewable assetstocommercial operation by 2026 with more than 500mwp of solarcommencingconstruction in 2023. The head of delivery brazil will beresponsiblefor developing and leading the delivery organizationcomprising shellstaff, owners engineers, consultants and contractorsfor the design,construction, commissioning and handover of onshorerenewable powerprojects. The core delivery team comprises of epcmanagers, projectdelivery engineers and delivery contracts andprocurement,interconnection and logistics professionals. The brazildelivery teammembers are based in rio de janeiro and sao paulo. Theincumbent isexpected to establish excellent and constructive workingrelationshipswith 3rd party contractors, and to determine how best tobalance thedistribution of risk and value between(Informação Confidencial)and thecontractors so thatrgs global value and growth objectives areexpeditiously achieved. Thehead of deliverybrazil will also be expected to be an active member ofthe globaldelivery leadership team and contribute to knowledgesharing, buildingthe global community and further enhancing thedelivery teamscapability to scale efficiently and rapidly. Keyresponsibilities:build and lead the brazil delivery team. Coordinateclosely andconstructively with brazil core team of business developersand engineers to deliver country business targets. Manage solarandonshore wind project delivery safely ensuring schedule, costandquality targets are met. Establish, maintain and continuouslyimprove delivery discipline practices and strategy. Contribute toglobaldelivery network. Establish a strong network with solar/windepcs, oemequipment suppliers, technical consultants and the shell team and project with authorities, gridoperatorsand stakeholders. Strong working knowledge of electricitynetwork andsystem operator requirements within brazil. Rapidly developa workingknowledge of permitting, licensing and grid connectionrequirements in brazil. Embed goal zero safety mindset in deliveryteams andcontractors. Work with the global head of delivery &engineering and delivery leadership team to develop processes, toolsand ways ofworking that allows the onshore renewables delivery modelto scale ata rate that matches the res growth ambitions. What we needfrom you? Demonstrated experience in delivering or managing deliveryof largemulti mwp utility-Scale photovoltaic projects includinghvinterconnection scope. Experience in delivering photovoltaicprojectsin the latin america region preferred, particularly in and battery storage delivery experience is a plus,priority issolar pv. Must have at least 7 years of practicalexperience in sitemanagement gained inside or externally to than 10 years in shell or renewables contractor operational,project management and/ordelivery roles is preferred. A strongpreference for candidates thathave multiple years of experience inpreparing tenders particularlyfrom the perspective of a constructioncontractor. Solid experience inmanaging contractors, technicalconsultants, owners engineers andindependent engineers in therenewables, construction or powerindustry. Solid experience incontractor negotiations includingdispute resolution. Solid experiencein the techno-Economicoptimisation of projects. Solid understanding ofproject economics,risk management, value chain and projectdevelopment. Experience inmanaging and influencing other corporatedisciplines (e.G. Legal,procurement, hr). Knowledge of thesolar/wind/battery storage market latin america and particularly inbrazil, including competitivelandscape and market rules.
