We work in a project based networked way where everyone needs to be able to take a step back and think strategically as well as rolling up their sleeves and get their hands dirty, to be entrepreneurial and experiment as well as bringing in the best of unilever and work the structures of a large company, to take charge and lead as well as follow and support & wellbeing acquired businesses manufacture 100% of the products at a contract manufacturers, making this role critical to land our H&W business ambition of continued high you are excited about learning a new category (vms), strategizing & executing vms cm sourcing strategy, partnering with suppliers to land new innovations, scouting & developing new cm partnerships, working with cross -Functional team, being a negotiation ninja, all while being part of the fastest growing business group at unilever, this is the role for you!What you can expect from the role?In this role you will:1) find creative was to optimize operations while leveraging unilever scale.2) business partner our vms brands in usa on best practices for cm sourcing. 3) participate in sourcing, bidding process, and implementation of the vms cm space is new to unilever, this is a great opportunity to help build a knowledge bank that will inform our future addition, it also encompasses the following responsibilities:accountable for the developing and implementing H&W usa cm sourcing strategies for our H&W constantly think of ideating, creating and implementing cost savings programs and initiatives constantly via interaction with the opcos and unilever procurement build and maintain strong working relationships with business partner teams and user communities in the operating companies (opcos) and the global business suppliers at the earliest opportunity in all requirement-Raising stages and focus upon consolidation of requirements across operating companies on similar materials and pre-Qualification where required of an appropriate number of potential costs, focusing on total acquisition costs, including activity-Based review and understanding suppliers cost and drive supplier negotiation, planning interactions and outcomes, and assess success against desired outcomes. Challenge and negotiate to provide competitive unilever purchasing agreements and contracts, using standard contracts where possible to ensure opcos utilize robust contracting role will report to senior global procurement manager, health & wellbeing (contract manufacturing) based out of usa & is part of the global hw procurement team rolling up to beauty & wellbeing group with high visibility interaction with global H&W cross functional team mainly based in usa & unilever procurement this sound like you?Experience in procurement (preferably pi) and /or supply chainuniversity degree (mba preferred)strong analytical skills & application of microsoft powerpoint & excelwhy unilever?Unilever is the place where you can bring your purpose to life with the work that you do creating a better business and a better world.
