Cross border payments is at jpmorgans core and one of our strategic areas of growth. Cross border payments sits within the overall payments franchise and partners closely with jpmorgans markets franchise for fx execution. We are looking for a product manager to join the team that leads the development of local cross border / cross currency payment solutions. Success in the role will require strong partnership, collaboration, and engagement with client facing teams, other product areas, markets, risk, technology, compliance, and legal across different geographies. Daily responsibilities: own the product development cycle: product roadmap and prioritization of backlog. Partner with the technology pms to ensure the business requirements are correctly understood and documented for development and testing. Support the commercialization strategy by ensuring sales teams have all the necessary tools and documentation. Support conversations with local regulators and policy makers. By developing a deep understanding of jpms global systems and mechanics behind connectivity between payments and markets infrastructure. Devise, recommend and deliver efficient and varied methods of creating cross border solutions. Anticipate internal and external factors impacting cross-Border payments business locally and implementing plans to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities. Have a firm grip on competition and industry initiatives by developing local market knowledge and participating in industry events and seminars. Skills & experience required: knowledge and experience with agile methodologies for product management product management experience in the financial services industry, preferably within the payments and/or fx realms bachelors degree, mba preferred (engineering is a plus) fluent in english fluent in spanish and/or portuguese behavioral competencies: team player: A good partner who acts in good faith and communicates effectively towards advancing shared objectives.
