If you join ortho, no matter what your role, you will be expected to keep that customer excellence focus in your are looking for someone to join our supply chain team!- Main activities:- Plans and controls regional inventory of finished goods for warehouses to meet sales and demand- Independently research, develop and implement inventory appropriately sophisticated global planning models that link customer service levels, supply/demand variability and other planning parameters to optimize latam inventory turns and days of supply across team- Recommends and implements systemic improvements to inventory system where errors could affect the replenishment, financial reporting, inventory data credibility, or overall inventory management operations- Verifies inventory accuracy and controls inventory levels by changing reorder points and other planning parameters to meet changing dynamics- Troubleshoots severe inventory inaccuracies and recommends improvements to process and system gaps- Audits warehouse locations especially problem inbound/outbound staging locations.- Develops reports and commentary to keep management aware of potential trends, shortages, back orders etc. As required.- Prepares special reports, statistics, and analytics to communicate trends, improvement opportunities- Comprehensive day-To-Day management of external manufacturers - Supply planning, purchase order execution, delivery scheduling, issue research and resolution- Leads supervisor, vendors and staff through inventory problem investigation and resolution- Establishes and communicates inventory policies and/or procedures- Participates in monthly S&op demand reviews- Implements and manages forecasting/inventory management software and supporting systems. Provides leadership in process, systems and tools improvements.- Develops and reviews performance metrics in support of the key scorecards and business reviews.- Produces and reviews monthly reports within specified time frames.- Participates in development of long-Term strategic plans within supply chain, supporting other functions and business at large- Effectively influence cross functional senior leaders- Requirements:- Prefer minimum of 4-6 years supply chain experience, in the life sciences or similar environment with international experience-- Excellent communications and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate and implement team projects.-- Proven ability to influence and persuade internal and external and apo snp experience preferred.-- Advanced english mandatory.-- Advanced spanish preferred, minimum intermediate mandatory.
