Description qualifications: boeing brazil is seeking a senior systems safety engineer reporting to the systems engineering manager of the sao jose dos campos. The senior systems safety engineer will join the team of systems engineering and will focus the foundations of revolutionizing airplane development at boeing. Position responsibilities: work in the aircraft level in the main boeing commercial aviation products (like 777, 787, 737) to plan, design, develop and verify system solutions evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces performs systems analyses to system architecture performs analyses for safety, reliability and maintainability resolves cross-Functional technical issues provide technical leadership of the team and mentor early career engineers this position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic qualifications (required skills/experience): must have existing rights to work in brazil must have a degree in engineering must be registered or eligible to register with the engineering and agronomy regional council (conselho regional de engenharia e agronomia crea) proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the english language. In depth experience with systems engineering product development in depth experience with safety analyses (fha, fmea, zonal analyses, risk assessments, ssa) in depth experience with arp-4754 and arp-4761 in depth experience in technical leadership preferred qualifications (education/experience): in depth experience applying systems engineering principals model based systems engineering and model based engineering application and tool sets experience with agile methodologies relocation: this position offer relocation based on candidate eligibility additional information: this requisition is for a locally hired position in brazil.
