Result of service ultimate result of service the consultant (global development agendas) will be responsible for the development and implementation of the technical content of the course global development agendas, which will be delivered in the distance learning modality (synchronous virtual workshops) and elaborated based on the 2030 agenda, the new urban agenda, and un-Habitat course global development agendas, along with the other courses that will be offered, makes up for the second stage of this project and aims to enhance the municipal capacity for promoting sustainable urban development and supporting the collective construction of better cities for the present and future course will be offered via an online platform with synchronous activities, and it is aimed particularly at public managers, decision-Makers, stakeholders in general, and technical staff involved in the public policy cycle (formulation, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation).The goals of this course are: (i) to raise the participants and the public sector awareness about the importance of 2030 agenda and the new urban agenda (nua) (ii) prepare the participants to formulate projects aligned with the global agendas for sustainable urban development at the local level (iii) prepare the participants to create concrete proposals to accelerate the implementation of the global development agendas within the territory (iv) prepare the participants to respond, in an agile and adequate manner, to global challenges accordingly to the principles and guidelines of the global agendas (v) strengthen the participants planning capacity at the subnational level (vi) present tools to align urban planning instruments with the global agendas and enabling for the use of indicators to monitor and evaluate local projects in relation to 2030 agenda and nua objectives (vii) share local best practices based on the debate and examples of participants, as well as recommendations related to the implementation of the global agendas, strengthening networking, and cooperation opportunities and (viii) generate a common understanding of how different departments and institutions can synchronize their efforts to achieve the sdgs and promote multidisciplinary approaches to development consultant (global development agendas) must, among other essential activities for the elaboration of the course: (i) define the didactic-Pedagogical project of the course, including the syllabus, general and specific goals, methodology, structure and format, competencies, contents, and skills to be developed in each module (ii) elaborate the technical content of the didactic materials (iii) suggest additional didactic materials and guests, as needed and (iv) evaluate the knowledge acquired by the consultant will work in close collaboration with the operational and technical teams of un-Habitat office in rio de locationhome basedexpected durationthe consultancy has an expected duration of two (2) backgroundthe main mandate of the united nations human settlements programme (un-Habitat) is to promote sustainable development of human settlements and policies conducive to adequate housing for all. Through a partnership with undp and sudene to improve institutional and technical capacities of 52 cities on sustainable territorial and urban development, un-Habitat is now setting up training modules for public sector capacity buil.
