In this role, you will lead a team of software engineers who build and maintain microservices and web applications that composes the wfn (workforce now) product, an adps human capital management platform that help our customers save time, stay compliant, and manage their workforce. No two days are alike. You will spend your time checking in with your team, stateside or abroad. You will facilitate the teams work through coaching and guidance and provide leadership with realistic expectations and deadlines. You will be the final set of eyes to review technical solution for quarterly initiatives and manage ad-Hoc requests as they arise. Youll be accountable for something significant: the uncompromising quality of products that impact peoples lives. To thrive in this role, you need to passionate about people, product and tecnology. A solid understanding of software development at scale is a must, including knowledge of java, javascript (), cloud services, relational databases, microservice and micro-Frontend architectures, ci/cd pipelines, and is up to date with technology trends. You need to know how to manage software development projects using agile methodologies, applying the processes that best fit to each team. You need to know what are the best practices on software development life cycle. You need to manage software engineers career pursuing their growth altogether with adps growth. Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively will keep the team informed of company-Wide initiatives and leaders comfortable with the teams progress. You are comfortable presenting to senior leaders, product owners, architects and peers with a compelling voice that you demonstrate through executive presence, leading change, and creating clear executive-Level communications on milestone achievements. You have 15+ years of experience in information technology area and 5-8 years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role. To succeed in this role: you have a bachelors degree or equivalent. You have skills in the three areas: software engineering, project/product management and team leadership. Prior experience in java. Prior experience in web applications, backend and frontend tiers and batch processes. Prior experience in prior experience designing and building technical solutions. Prior experience with cloud services, relational databases, microservice and micro-Frontend architectures. You are up to date with technology trends. You know how to manage software development projects using agile methodologies. You know what are the best practices on software development life cycle and ci/cd pipelines.
