We are looking for a principal engineer, process safety who consistently enhance the safety of plant operations by identifying all potential risks and ensure it is eliminated or bachelor in chemical engineering. 15 years experience minimum in the process safety field. Qualified & certified as pha (hazop) leader. Familiar with facility siting & lopa assessmentcomprehensive knowledge of chemical process equipment and unit operationspractical and direct process safety program leading, facilitating and documenting hazard/risk assessments including process hazard analyses using hazop working knowledge of pressure safety design ability to comprehend and use P&ids, material balances, equipment and layout drawings, and specifications for complex chemical communication and presentation skills able to effectively promote ideas within the plant and across the organizationcertification or formal training in process conducting moc and pssr applying other technology focused psm elements (psi, etc.)experience designing/specifying emergency relief systems and applying pressure safety regulations (asme bpvc, api-520/521).In-Depth knowledge of chemical process hazards (toxicity, reactivity, flammability, combustible dusts, etc.) and preventive measures (area classification, functional safety, etc.)experience with quantitative risk assessment methods (e.G. Lopa)..Experience in facility siting studiesfamiliarity with process control and instrumentation systems/skills (personal rapport and influence) necessary to coach staff and to work with internal groups and outside agencies engaged in process safetyduties and responsibilitieslead and supervise process hazards analyses (phas) and other risk assessments studies for new and existing the evaluation of pressure safety related hazards, recommend design solutions and verify subject matter expertise in pressure safety independent system design. Support pressure safety policy/procedure development and execution, including psi process safety events and facilitate or participate in incident investigations to determine root causes and corrective in internal & external audits to ensure that psm systems are maintained and with operations and engineering colleagues on the development and progression of capital projects. Conduct appropriate risk assessments and advise on the potential impacts of regulatory and maintain knowledge in standards such as nfpa, api, asme with providing interpretation and guidance on requirements and best operations and engineering in proactively identifying and resolving process safety and support the execution of corrective actions and recommendations arising from psm activities (pha, moc, rca, etc.).
