About the job Drive implementation and development of design automation for the specified area, and effectively utilize design automation to develop product design in defined projects. Develop and design product equipment and tools to be able effectively produce products that meet developing project requirements and performance standards. Analyze equipment specifications and process requirements to conceive a practical design. Seek the continuous improvement of the research and development area. Main responsibilities Together with the product process development team drive the implementation of design automation. Drive independently the design development of round tools. Review product development requirements for compatibility with methods to determine cost and schedules. Utilize equipment and material capabilities to meet specifications and technology target specifications. Responsible for handling over method/process and equipment to production. Utilize computer aided design (cad) and computer aided engineering (cae) systems to model new designs and produce relevant product data, including drawing corresponding to the defined product data structure. Specify precise new product design tests and integrate components to produce final designs. Evaluate the designs overall safety, effectivenes cost, and reliability. Design, develop, execute, and evaluate fitness-For-Use testing, product specifications and bills of materials. Collaborate with internal quality dept., manufacturing and R&D partner contract manufacturer educational and research institute and other designers. Ensure project compliance with established industry safety, and accordance with design standards and guidelines. Join meetings locally and abroad, as well as through virtual resource to interact with other areas related to the role. Join projects to continually improve the performance of the research and development area. Liaises with the project leader to ensure all project deliverables from the specification of demands are met. Provides technical support and feedback with different project stakeholders. Inglês - Nível avançado Your profile Required : Knowledge about management system tools (quality, environment, and safety). Advanced knowledge of reading and understanding technical drawings. Advanced knowledge of cad software. Communication skills in english. Knowledge about measurement instruments and equipment (ex. 3D scanning). Knowledge about metal cutting process theory. Knowledge about design automation principles. Desired : Knowledge about programming and operation of cnc machines. Knowledge of siemens nx. Knowledge of cae. Knowledge of cam. Experience of design automation utilizing capp/cappman/yapp. Be available to work 100% on site in interlago são paulo.
