The quality assurance technician is accountable for evaluation of product, processes, and systems to ensure that quality product is produced and packaged. This is accomplished through process and product monitoring, maintaining quality test equipment, tracking of key variables, and establishing proper quality procedures. Reporting to the manager of quality, this position works closely with other plant support personnel including, operations, maintenance, engineering and rd&e. Essential duties and responsibilities: promote and contribute to a positive quality culture provide daily plant product quality support and attending daily production meetings perform quality review boards for all technicians performing quality tests on the line review all quality data daily and encourage line technicians to meet or exceed all product expectations document all plant quality quarantines. Work with plant technicians to develop expansion audit and rework plans. Engage quality improvement when necessary. Create sap quality holds and perform sap write-Offs collect and send out all required checks, audits, and regulatory samples (anvisa, product/process water/environmental, etc.) lead gmp efforts in the plant review and approve all quality-Controlled documents posted on the production floor lead and document all plant quality corrective and preventative actions (entropy) be the iso 9001 quality rep for the plant. Participate in annual audits (gmp, iso, plant compliance) review and approve all existing and new quality specifications. Be the first point of contact for any specification issues in the plant. Train all plant personnel on the proper use of quality instruments via appropriate test methods perform all duties assigned from the quality pillar through the responsibility matrix lead or participate in route loss, kaizen or problem-Solving teams as it relates to quality losses and defects performance analysis identifies business issues and continuous improvement opportunities by analyzing data evaluates viability and risk to business performance by conducting scenario analysis supports key performance indicator reporting and communication methods delivers performance according to action plans continuous improvement aligns resources to enable the implementation of process improvements guides others in learning and using standard and improved processes monitors the effects of process improvements, providing feedback and communication to management, process owners, and stakeholders makes suggestions to further enhance process efficiency statistical methods performs robust and technically sound analyses to identify the variability in the output of a process/product conducts process capability studies in order to compares variability within a process/product to the proposed specifications or product tolerances uses control charts to evaluate processes/products required skills / experience / competencies: demonstrated skill of quality management system (leader of iso audit, gmp process, system of monitoring of documents). High initiative and capable of completing tasks independently. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent time management skills. Demonstrated computer knowledge in both hardware and software. Proficient in microsoft office. Demonstrated math and measurement skills. Demonstrated ability of strong verbal and written communication to reach multiple audiences. Demonstrated ability to plan organize projects and activities. Corrective and preventative action management (capa). English: intermediate (good communication and participate of meeting) graduation completed in chemical or production engineering, administration, quality management or industrial production quality auditor: minimum 2 years of relevant work experience qms (quality management system) and lead process audit iso or gmp process. Lean/six sigma. Fmea - Failure mode and effect analysis.
