This role is responsible for taking full ownership of the delivery of all it infrastructures service in our largest factories within the region, which have the highest complexity and commercial value. For this position, we are looking for a senior person with strong infrastructure skills, ideally who worked as solution or enterprise architect in their last role. The focus of this role is on day-To-Day service delivery and helping to building the foundation for a transformation that addresses strategic challenges such as the convergence between it and ot, cybersecurity and cost-Effective it delivery. You should be comfortable with communicating with a range of stakeholders from across factory management teams as well as engineers in the factory. Effective communication will therefore require both functional business acumen and technical expertise. As a person who gets the job done, you are prepared to be hands-On when it comes to implementing concept design and buildestablish the role and concept and communicate this out to key stakeholders from across the business, regions (hubs) and sites. Ensure the performance of the it environments against the defined practices and policies at the site or sites. This includes oversight of the deployment of the global it pgs at the site, such as tooling, network, data, processes, and usage by stakeholders. This will require coordination and management of a range of stakeholders who provide services, both from global it pgs and from 3rd party vendors who are providing services to make sure the services are meeting the needs of the sites, and where they are not meeting the needs work with the teams and vendor to address opportunitiesresponsible for working with the bu global it manager or bu hub it manager to understand and prioritize the opportunities for strategic improvements at the sites in scope. This includes the initial identification of opportunities, but also the intake of opportunities identified by other team members. These opportunities could include the improvement of performance at the sites through tooling, network or compliance related resolutionresponsible for oversight and monitoring of issue resolution at the sites in issues for the factory, focusing on strategic issues and overseeing resolution of the day-To-Day tactical issues (unless they become high severity). Their responsibility is not ticket creation, but they may be involved in resolving high-Severity tickets which have been raised. Strategic issues likely to include improving reliable performance of it ot, understanding and managing gaps in compliance, and supporting on the resolution of major outages. This issue resolution should also include vendor related issues, and internal it product group issues. Issues will also resolve responsibility for supporting security and compliance resolve gaps in the factory. Will be responsible for working with the hub it lead on solving more strategic complex issues which have been escalated or where there is a known high-Volume of specific issues. This issue resolution should also include vendor related issues, and internal it product group managementmonitoring and oversight of the assets that that have captured within the inventory management at the sites in scope of the hub. Understanding where there are strategic gaps, issues or opportunities within the inventory management catalog or the inventory management approach. The capture and management of assets within inventory management at the site(s). Including infrastructure, it/ot assets, and business it environments. Starting with identifying the needs / requirements from stakeholders, designing the approach, and delivering training to teams where required around inventory management best practices. Once stood-Up, will then oversee the effective use of the inventory management approach. This may include updating inventory management themselves but primarily through coordinating the completion of inventory management activities by other teams at the managementresponsible for oversight of key strategic projects at the sites in scope. This will be either be in a decision making or informed role, or where appropriate responsible for acting as the project manager on the project when the scale and complexity requires will deliver some of their work through targeted projects. These projects may include work efforts to address more complex issues which cannot be resolved in short efforts, or more strategic opportunities to optimize. The business it site delivery specialist is not responsible for identifying the projects, but for execution of projects. They may work on some of these projects alone but more typically will need to work with other teams at the sites and in it to delivery. While the bite site hub lead is unlikely to have multiple direct line projects reporting into them, they may have involvement and decision making across a number of leadershipwill play an important leadership role advising and guiding on key principles, coaching and developing the teams and helping make important decisions. Will be responsible for working with other stakeholders at the site(s) and within global it. This primarily includes local it teams and global product groups, but may also include bu and hub leadership. Role may include managing it/ot onsite factory resources or external contractors to execute and inputs into leadership governance forums for information and awareness. Attends site level governance to provide steer and decision making. Introduces and manages targeted governance forums with key stakeholders to provide ongoing communications as well as project or issue specific communications. This should include governance participation with bu or factory application managers, and other he it infrastructure managers from across the bu. Supports cyber security monitoring and execution of factory tasks including patch management, vulnerability background:experience in shared services it and business / local it is required, ideally including experience working in factory it either as regional it leader or site-Specific it leader. Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for hitachi energy in the united understanding of systems and technologies, including hardware, software, networking, and industrial control systems. They should be able to analyze and troubleshoot issues that arise with these systems and have the technical expertise to implement leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate objectives, inspire and motivate staff (direct and virtual), and maintain alignment with business strategy and business business acumen, including industry and process knowledge of the organization and its business units. Needs to be able to understand the commercial drivers of an organization and translate between these business needs and ot / it analytical, conceptual, strategic planning, influencing, negotiations and execution skills. Stakeholder management will be a key part of this stakeholder engagement and expectation management skills, proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels. Hands-On approach to work, strong sense of ownership and accountability. Demonstrated leadership, including team leadership and organizational skills, in a cross-Cultural in english (spoken and written), additional languages are a valued asset based on the region being operated in.
