This position is in cargills food ingredients and bio-Industrial business, where we anticipate trends around taste, nutrition and safety to innovate and provide solutions to manufacturers, retailers and foodservice purpose and impact the distribution operations supervisor is responsible for the accounting and accuracy of inventory. In this role, you will ensure compliance with established internal control procedures, accuracy of all data in business management software and aids in establishing inventory control concepts, best methods and procedures. In this role, you will set performance expectations, hold the team accountable to those expectations and be responsible for product safety, employee health and safety, warehouse activities and transportation where accountabilities lead the day to day warehouse operations including product handling and storage requirements and developing, implementing, administering and evaluating policies and for overseeing the accuracy of all inventory and partner with department teams to conduct routine cycle inventory changes using business management software and other in depth research to reconcile inventory discrepancies in the business management software and physical and execute warehouse material transfers in the business management software to maintain accurate in investigating all damages and implement corrective moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. Review, complete and ensure the accuracy of warehouse related documents and shipments and maintains and reports inventory accuracy, aging and order compliance with safety codes, policies and procedures of the company and the standards established by regulatory for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports.
