The role the engineering team in iwg is comprised byseveral practices (business analysis, solution & data architecture,devops, security as well as product development). The developmentpractice, in particular, is responsible for the roadmap for a productas well as its planning, developing, operating, maintaining andend-To-End costing. We require an experienced head of development thatblends a strong software development background with product deliveryto further develop our product development practice. This criticalrole is responsible for defining and delivering the end-To-Endtechnology solution for our global finance function. Over the next twoyears youll lead the solution design of ms dynamics for finance andassume responsibility for the system roll out to more than 120countries. While a degree of technical expertise and knowledge ofdynamics f&o / ax will be advantageous, the key requirement is forsomeone with exceptional delivery-Management skills, who is also ableto engage and influence at all levels of the business including ournew cfo. Youll be required to demonstrate agility and creativity inyour problem-Solving, enabling a core business function at the heartof a growing global business. Role and responsibilities Build andown the roadmap (technical and functional) for the product, providinginsights of industry state of the art solutions, including anynecessary consolidations, decommissioning or migrations Lead the e2edelivery of new changes required in dynamics f&o as well as in therelated finance applications within iwg. Design, manage, maintainall quality and performance practices, standards, methodologies, andmetrics Lead e2e delivery of new changes required in the product inparallel with demand from other systems/teams. Ms dynamics f&osystem roadmaps, providing insights of industry state of the artsolution Be responsible for the products support and availability Plan and manage capacity required in the different delivery teams Responsible for whole budget planning and approval requests Leadpartners, contractors and ftes Design, manage, maintain all qualityand performance practices, standards, methodologies, and metricsacross finance systems Support post go live issues management andescalations (via support team) Manage overall culture and motivationof the team Be the final accountable for after-Hours/on-Callrotation for escalation Develop and manage the engagement andrelationship with all key stakeholders main requirements what youllneed to succeed: this role ideally suits someone with strongexperience in delivering technology solutions for finance, and whoboasts a robust understanding of the expectations and motivations offinance stakeholders. Previous exposure to global systems deploymentswould be beneficial though not as essential as the ability totranslate business requirements into a clear and well-Defined roadmapthat truly captures the long-Term needs of the business. Youll alsoneed to be highly skilled in working with vendors and systemintegrators, getting the best from them in an environment where thingscan change very quickly.
