How youll make your mark aig is looking for a global accounts payable manager with experience on system integration and working collaboratively with other teams. The position is responsible for many aspects of support for global accounts payable. The ideal candidate will not hesitate to roll up their sleeves to address any issues. The candidate should be an avid learner who wants to invest in their career and continue to learn all aspects of the function and at the same time ensure timely execution of projects. This will include: driving strategic projects for global ap lead and manage testing of new system upgrades, changes, and enhancements work with other business units to address their technological business needs in relation to accounts payable support internal procurement systems like ariba and fieldglass to streamline those processes lead and oversee launch of sap and accounts payable in other aig countries or newly acquired entities what youll need to succeed youll need to be a self-Starter with a minimum of 10+ years extensive background in accounts payable / procurement / finance and accounting. This role will require someone who has experience in leading accounts payable systems and processes in their company and understand the concepts well. The candidate must be able to work independently, or in a team environment and be willing and able to make business/ strategic decisions. This will include: ability to work with sr. Leadership and cross-Functional teams ability to navigate within the company ability to coach the staff at global level ability to work well in a high pressure, whereby ensuring that work is being completed in an accurate and timely fashion education bachelors degree or equivalent accounting or finance background preferred experience: sap working knowledge (preferred) knowledge of procurement systems ariba, fieldglass and concur advanced excel skills finance, banking, accounting, and business skills project management and six sigma (preferred) #li-Gw1 #li-Th1.
