Powertrain engineering is contributing to the volvo group’s competitive position in the market place by developing and maintaining profitable products and product components in terms of quality, delivery, cost and function and that comply with all applicable regulatory requirements. Our scope of work includes engineering and design of engines, gearboxes, axles, hybrid technology and driveline and is based on common architecture and shared technology. Product documentation team is part of the powertrain engineering applicationcenter in curitiba. Product documentation team is responsible for the engineering change management throughout the entire product life-Cycle. The team defines the hierarchical decomposition of a product, variants and technical restrictions, drawing and cad check function, handling customer unique configuration demands and special requests that impact standard parts. We have strong collaboration with engineering centers in sweden, france, japan and U.S.A. Job summary: as a product structure intern you are going to be responsible for the following activities:help the product structure team creating the documentation to release the product changes related to powertrain items;document the team indicators in the group sharepoint using the powerbi microsoft tool;help the standard parts global responsible engineer in order to assist technologies to use the correct components;help the team in all daily activities. Additional informationstudying mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, control & automation engineering graduation planned end 2022 or later;good ability to communicate and work with people at different levels;good knowledge in writing and speaking english advanced;excel power bi ability is desirable.
