About the job senior azure data architectSummary ofduties & responsibilitiesThe senior azure data architect isexpected to evangelize and educate others on engineering design anddevelopment standards. Senior azure data architect is expected tofunction as a productive member of a team, working and communicatingproactively with engineering peers, technical lead, project managers,product owners, and resource - Design and develop data pipelines.- Design anddevelop azure ml model execution architecture.- Design and developmethods for handling 3rd party data for use within ml models.-Evangelize engineering design and development standards.-Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-Ups, sprintplanning, retrospectives, and product demonstrations.- Produceefficient and elegant code that meets business requirements-Author unit tests that adhere to code coverage guidelines.-Proactively communicate progress, issues, and risks tostakeholders.- Accurately estimate assignments.- Create andmaintain technical documentation.- Mentor less experiencedengineers.- Contribute to the growth and maturity of the softwareengineering group.- Performs other related duties skills & competencies- 7 years ofhands-On experience designing and implementing multi-Tenant solutionsusing azure databricks for data governance, data pipelines for nearreal-Time data warehouse, and machine learning solutions.- 10years of extensive, hands-On experience designing and implementinglarge-Scale multi-Tenant distributed data architecture for bi and oltpsystems.- 5 years of hands-On experience designing and developingmulti-Tenant solutions using power bi, power bi embedded, power biservices, power bi gateway, and power bi dataflow.- 10 years ofadvanced hands-On experience designing and implementing large-Scalemulti-Tenant data pipeline (tb or pb in size) including change datacapture (cdc) solutions for structured, semi-Structured, andunstructured data in batch and real-Time environments.- 5 years ofhands-On experience in azure services including azure sql database,azure databricks, azure analysis services, azure ml services, andazure synapse analytics.- 5 years of hands-On experience with dataintegration using etl / elt tools (e.G., ssis, azure data factory,airflow).- Advanced knowledge of python, object-Orientedprogramming, and unit testing.- Expert in data modeling.-Broad experience in microsoft sql technologies including ssas tabularmodels, dax, t-Sql, service broker, replication, and performancetuning.- Broad multi-Tenant data architecture and implementationexperience across different data stores (e. G., azure data lake gen2,azure sql data warehouse, azure blob storage, hdfs), messaging systems(e. G., azure event hubs, apache kafka), and data processing engines(e. G., azure data lake analytics, apache hadoop, apache spark, apachestorm, azure hdinsight).- Experience with pandas and parallelprocessing. Experience with ray is a plus.- Experience with dataintegration through apis, web services, soap, and/or restservices.- Experience using azure devops and ci/cd as well asagile tools and processes including git, jenkins, jira, andconfluence.- Additional programming experience is a plus includingexperience with net, scala, r, java.- Must have demonstratedexperience designing and implementing data pipelines for consumptionby machine learning and bi solutions.- Knowledge of soa and microsservices application architecture.- Ability to work in afast-Paced, collaborative team environment.- Excellent written andverbal communication skills and ability to express ideas clearly or prior work experience-Bachelors degree in cs or related field, masters degreepreferred.- 10+ years of experience with designing and developingcomplex data architecture solutions.- 5+ years of design anddevelopment experience with microsoft azure data architecture andrelated solutions (e.G., azure data lake gen2, azure data factory,cdm, event hub, azure databricks, synapse, azure sqldw).Salary: r$100.00 - R$200.00 permonthapplication question(s):- Country ofresidenceLanguage:- English (required) similar jobs senior consultant virtusapolaris virtusa... grace consulting tec... senior manager - Business transformation.
