About the role: as performance engineer for wiley, you will help define and follow quality assurance in performance, create and maintain performance test plans, measure and analyze performance data, and execute performance and regression test scenarios. You will work closely with wileys product development teams to research and remediate issues. The role requires strong analytical skills, and hands-On experience in using open-Source tools for api/web/mobile, test automation is a must. How you will make an impact: analyze, drive and review business and tech requirements for solutions and support for achieving goals from the performance end. Maintain, design, and implement performance test architecture, including automated performance test solutions, service visualizations, monitoring, and reporting. Create and maintain solutions for test plans and test scenarios. Ensure test scripts maintain traceability to requirements. Maintain staging environment, performance test execution setup, and execution including monitoring. Execute performance test scenarios. Ensure that developed functionality satisfies requirements for all major performance metrics and aligns with specifications. Maintain and create online and post-Execution analysis, monitoring, and reporting solutions. Track and record results of test execution. Interpret results and identify trends. Publish results and communicate test execution status. Maintain and analyze production monitoring data and production logs. Maintain root cause analysis for performance bottlenecks, support performance bottleneck remediation, and performance regression testing. Interact with application technical smes (developers, sres, dbas, architects) to drive proper monitoring, root cause analysis, and tuning support what we look for: experience in performance testing for web/mobile-Based technologies. Experience in performance test designing and implementing load testing scripts usage one or more load testing tools (e.G. Gatling, jmeter, loadrunner, k6, etc.) experience in one the programming languages ( java, python, c/c++, scala, go, javascript ) comprehensive understanding of performance principles and metrics. Experience in production monitoring and production log analysis using tools like dynatrace, elk, grafana, or alike. Experience in analyzing web applications and writing test cases based on the current behavior of the application where documentation or feature requirements do not exist. Load modeling for performance tests according to scenarios obtained from the analysis of statistical trends in application usage and business requirements. Experience in continuous integration/continuous deployment tools like jenkins or alike. Critical-Thinking skills and the ability to give attention to details as well as understand the big picture. Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate information to technical and non-Technical audiences. Team player who can easily adapt to a rapidly changing environment. Experience in functional test automation tools such as selenium, postman, appium, etc. Will be an added advantage. Experience with docker, k, and aws cloud tools will be added advantage.
