What you will do: at vehicle engineering you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will: as a mechanical engineer inside cseta team (chassis structure equipment & transport adaptation), you will be in charge to develop technical solutions for local and global projects, solve quality issues and support parts localization for components and systems within your responsibility area. You will get an opportunity to work together with highly skilled colleagues, in a global environment and working in new technology vehicles such as battery electric vehicles (bev) and fuel cell electric vehicles (fcev). Your daily activities will include but not be limited to: be responsible and lead the development of chassis structure, equipment and transport adaptation (cseta) systems and components provide technical solutions and design work that fulfills the business targets and requirements develop and share technical competence with other development sites control product cost and support budget estimation develop validation plans and project timing plans support design reviews, participate in risk analysis, root cause investigations and dfmea to play a key role in a cross-Functional network secure a continuous optimization of product quality and cost release documentation (3d models, drawings, technical regulations, technical descriptions, product structure) make use of and apply agile methodology. Your future team: cseta chassis structure, equipment and transport adaptation is a group within the chassis department that is responsible for the development of chassis components and installation for latin america trucks application. The group is part of a global network and works in close cooperation with other sites such as france, sweden and usa. In this role, you will bring: essential skills and needed experience: mechanical engineer degree previous knowledge in systems like: structural components, cab and engine suspension, plastic tanks, fuel system, urea system, battery box, exhaust systems, fenders and fairings is preferred manufacturing processes (stamping, casting, injection...) and material properties knowledge application of quality tools (risk analysis, dfmea, root cause analysis, etc.) good communication skills and thrive in cooperation with others flexibility to perform a wide range of tasks, and accepting new challenges, responsibilities and assignments fluent in english (written & verbal). 3d cad knowledge, preferable software ptc/creo would be a differential: knowledge of trucks systems and applications joints knowledge knowledge on agile methodology international and multi-Cultural experience with a global and cross functional organization ready for the next move?
