What we are looking for:precision planting develops innovative technology products that help growers increase crop yields around the world. This position will lead the design and development of technological equipment innovations in brazil. This professional will be responsible for defining the requirements and specifications of a project, as well as for coordinating and executing the project plans. This role will also provide technical and agronomic validation criteria for all products, while establishing the timing and development of all new product launches through the current dealer network. Additionally, this role will provide technical leadership for product support activities as well as the field research required to demonstrate product value. What are you going to do: oversee the execution of product development, ensuring that products are delivered to marketplace that meet customer needs, profitability goals, and at high quality. Oversee the npi process, smoothly introducing new products into the market. Discover the best supply chain solutions and cost structure in country. Provide necessary technical documentation to support distribution, product quality, and value creation for the farmer. Assist sales/marketing team to promote the product by providing tools, data, and support as necessary to introduce product to market and support them once they are established in the marketplace. Keep interfaces with customer, manufacturing, quality, sales and marketing departments release and review 3d models and 2d drawings follow the lab and field tests, validate and approve final results use engineering and quality tools in order to manage and control the projects such as dvpr, dfmea, 8d and design quality reviews with suppliers. What do you need: bachelors degree: mechanical or agricultural engineering experience with product design and/or testing, project management, with solid field experience. Experience with 3d modeling and 2d design software (creo desirable) solid knowledge of the complete lifecycle of mechanical product, equipment or machine system development advanced english: must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in english, has frequent contact with the usa availability to travel (50% of the time).
