Access services is looking to welcome a director of learning and staff development to our organization. They are the cornerstone of our culture and the service we bring to those we director will create leadership development solutions that drive succession planning across the organization by: developing and leading a long-Term vision and strategy to advance a culture of continuous learning that aligns with access services mission, vision and core values. Designing and developing innovative and accessible training solutions and materials to include various modalities. Maintaining onboarding training plans and annual required training plans to meet identified licensing criteria and to maintain functional meaning. Serving as the primary liaison with relias to ensure maximum and meaningful use of our learning management system. Conducting training needs analysis in partnership with program leadership to identify competency gaps and develop strategies to address those gaps. Functions of the director of learning and staff development strategy development & implementation: develop and lead a long-Term vision and strategy to advance a culture of continuous learning that aligns with access services mission, vision and core values. Track training trends, environmental changes, and organizational strategy to drive whole-Organization training opportunities. Align learning and development programs with organizational business goals. Conduct organizational training needs analysis (tna) to identify needs and gaps. Measure efficacy and quality of training and development solutions using evaluation methodologies and data analysis and make recommendations based on findings. Lead the organization to identify competency/role-Based training plans/paths for each position. Remain informed about developments in the industry, approaches and products, and drive access services to be a leader in equipping our workforce. Instructional design and training development: design and develop innovative and accessible training solutions and materials to include various modalities - Online modules, videos, community groups, learning paths, etc. Create a culture of learning and development through rhythms of engaging, live training spaces. Utilize adult learning principles and proven methodologies to design training and learning solutions, in alignment with organizational objectives, comprised of engaging and interactive components. Utilize synchronous and asynchronous learning, blended learning and experiential learning methods in designing training solutions. Act as project manager in the development of training continuums on industry standard training topics e.G., trauma informed care, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior support, person-Centered planning, workforce wellness. Utilize appropriate lms (relias) software and e-Learning authoring tools/software. Knowledge/learning resource development and management: maintain onboarding training plans and annual required training plans to meet identified licensing criteria and to maintain functional meaning. Create, manage, and share learning resource information to employees to support individual development, credentialing, licensing, ceus and personal growth. Develop and manage leadership development training paths that align with organization leadership competencies. Identify and partner with external training resources and internal subject matter experts (smes) for identified training needs. Learning management system (lms/relias): serve as the primary liaison with relias to insure maximum and meaningful use of lms. Provide administration and oversight for lms. Make recommendations for contract renewal options as needed. Encourage employee engagement with lms via marketing and readily available information. Use lms to implement learning and development solutions to needs identified in organizational and program tnas. Serve as internal consultant for learning and development resources and initiatives. Utilize other software platforms as needed in design and development of learning resources. Develop internal mobility paths. Organizational and program partnership: conduct training needs analysis in partnership with program leadership to identify competency gaps and develop strategies to address those gaps. Meet regularly with program leaders to fully understand training needs, to solve specific program training issues, and to support/hold accountable all training plans in our lms. Promote and support a culture of learning in partnership with culture and engagement and program leaders via marketing available training opportunities. Partner with program leadership to support engagement though accountability. Partner with agency committees to build and maintain a training buffet that addresses training needs discovered through feedback, from licensing or contracting requirements, and that can support agency strategic goals. Partner with program leaders to identify evidence-Based training needs and develop implementation and sustainability plans for those trainings. Partner with the culture and engagement team for marketing and recognition around career development and skill building. Education: bachelors degree required. Masters degree in organizational development, organizational leadership, instructional design, education, psychology, or related field preferred. Certification: certified professional talent development (cptd) or associate professional talent development (aptd) certification preferred. Experience: five (5) years of direct experience in organization development, instructional design, learning and development, experience with a learning management system (lms) software and e-Learning authoring tools/software and project management. Knowledge, skills, and abilities: strong understanding of adult learning theory and application. Working knowledge of instructional design principles across various modalities. Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-Solving skills. Demonstrated motivation and initiative. Ability to work autonomously and to prioritize workload. Knowledge of leadership development, organizational culture, talent management, dei and change best practices. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, taking plans into action and leading initiatives to finish. Experience designing and implementing effective training and development programs, tools and solutions to build organizational leadership capability. Experience with courseware development tools a plus (articulate, camtasia, captivate). Demonstrated strong customer service orientation and skills with internal clients, employees, stakeholders and external partners. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills. Exceptional collaboration skills. Demonstrated effective communication skills, oral, written, and presentation, including the ability to communicate with, influence and partner with senior level leaders. Diverse views and ability to foster an inclusive team environment. Proficiency in, or ability to learn and use, workplace applications, platforms and technologies. Candidates must meet all qualifying and ongoing job criteria including background checks, physical examination results and clearances. Compensation, schedule, and benefits:the compensation starts at $70,000/year, with increases based on education and experience. This is a full-Time role with hybrid flexibility. This director should live within a commutable distance of our fort washington or bethlehem office.
