The opportunity we are looking for service management (sm) consultant to join our highly motivated team. What you are great at responsible for delivery of assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of a project. Tasks may include performing systems configurations, troubleshooting systems errors/problems, monitoring and/or testing systems performance, and contribute to the design of technical solutions for customer environments. Works with and under the direction of the project/technical manager and with customer nominated representatives or independently as a consultant to customer. Liaises with solutions architect as appropriate (case to case basis). Should be confident and capable of handling solution implementation / customization / configuration/ upgrade of the tool / solution. Provides technical support and input on the application of technology to a defined business segment. Provides advice on solution and integration opportunities to defined segments. . Provides planning and design support for the development of solution architectures that will be implemented in a multiple system environment. Demonstrates execution of the microfocus strategy. Contributes to knowledge tools and communities and ensures project learnings are documented and shared. Acts professionally with the company customers. Role models knowledge sharing and re-Use within practice or profession. Proactively encourages membership and contributions of others to professional community. Uses professions to meet the relevant certification and professional standards. Produces internally published material such as knowledge briefs, service delivery kit components or modules, etc. Participates in the selling process in delivery reviews and works with sales/principals on pre- Sales activities. What it takes bachelors degree 3-7 years of technical experience on any of the service management tools preferably micro focus service manager (sm) or micro focus smax desired process experience - Itil v3, itil v4 foundations or different modules must have the ability to understand proposed solution and identify tasks for configurations must have the ability to gather requirements for implementations must have hands on experience in full deployment of sm, smax and its components along with its integration both on windows and linux (minimum 2 full project each) experienced in smax application administration, tailoring, and l2/l3 level support for internal or external users, experience working with micro focus smax r&d on applying hot fixes for fixing l3 issues would be an added advantage. Working knowledge of postgresql and rest api, installation and integration using opb able to write and trouble shoot java scripting/python scripts trouble shooting smax integrations, micro focus connect-It (cit), on premises bridge agent must have the ability to create documents sets like implementation and configuration guide, sop, rca, health checklist, training manuals and user guides must be a specialist in integrations such as connect it, ucmdb, omi, am, ldap, email (inbound and outbound) must have working knowledge in integration using web services (soap and restapi) must have specialized skills on javascripts, basics and sql queries and used them in sm implementation must have hands on experience on using upgrade utility and handling upgrades (minimum 1 full upgrade project) must have hands on experience on implementing ssl and sso must be a specialist in configuring using process designer, javascript, document engine, smis, web services, triggers, wizards, macros, format, format control, links, display option and display screens must have knowledge on power bi or any bi tool must have understanding on infrastructure and network components and their working good to have the ability to consult, suggest and propose best practices in sm and smax and its integration. Good to have the ability to create uat, qa test, piv test and regression test plan/cases. Good to have the ability to create and review hld and lld with required architecture diagrams. Good to have the knowledge on dockers and kubernetes, its working, and components good to understand in-House rad applications (both understanding the application and how to call them in various tailoring/customizations).
