Description qualifications: boeing brazil is seeking a mid-Career electronic systems engineer reporting to the electrical and electronic engineering manager, working out of the são josé dos campos, são paulo office. The mid-Career electronic systems engineer will join the integrated modular avionics (ima) team. All projects focus on design, development, and production support of integrated modular avionics (ima) platform architecture and airplane electronic hardware (aeh) & software. Responsibilities include translation of concepts and high-Level requirements to specific architectures and operational specifications, and the integration of avionics systems and components into our complex airplanes. Work with a worldwide team to implement system hardware and software. Verification of system designs at the component, system and airplane levels. Work with aircraft systems from initial concept through certification, delivery, and in-Service support. Position responsibilities: component design, development and qualification to applicable aerospace standards system requirements documentation, validation, and verification performing system safety analysis ima platform configuration definition in alignment to airplane functional requirements integrate with ima platform hosted functions to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements analyzes and decomposes requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications verification of system designs to meet operational and functional requirements oversee supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements and schedule this position is hybrid/telecommuting. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at one of the listed location options.
