Introductioninformation and data are some of the most important organizational assets in todays role and responsibilitiesas a security consultant, you will be a key advisor for ibms clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the clients organization with the cognitive solutions that are making ibm the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world. Required technical and professional expertise Advanced english skills (program online sessions will be in english) Knowledge of it security concepts and fundamentals Knowledge and/or experience with it system administration or network administration Experience with operating systems - Linux (preferred) / unix / windows Knowledge and understanding of tcp/ip network fundamentals Knowledge and understanding of basic routing protocol fundamentalsAll vacancies are eligible for disabled or rehabilitated technical and professional expertise It system or network administration network troubleshooting and it security Cyber intelligence analysis, including open-Source research and analytical tradecraft Identifying cyber threat actors, including advanced persistent threats and associated tactics, techniques, and procedures (ttps) Trending/threat analysis report writing and performing cyber system security assessments Cyber threat analysis and ids/ips/siem systems Firewall administration and management Experience with operating systems - Linux (preferred) / unix / windows Experience with qradar and/or arcsight and/or splunk In depth knowledge and understanding of tcp/ip network fundamentals Nice to have: professional certifications (cissp, giac, gcih, gsec, gcia, ceh) Knowledge of cyber threat analysis and ids/ips/siem fundamentals Knowledge of firewall fundamentals and/or experience with firewall administration and management.
