About humane society international: humane society international (hsi) is seeking a campaign manager for its farm animal protection program in brazil. Hsi is one of the largest animal protection animals in the world, working globally to protect companion animals, animals in laboratories, wildlife, and farm animals. Hsi farm animals works with governmental institutions, civil society organizations, food producers, and food retail corporations in brazil to improve conditions of animals raised for food in the country. Job description: the main responsibility of this position is to develop and maintain corporate and governmental relationships, working with decision makers on the adoption of policies that improve farm animal welfare in brazil. Other duties include, but are not limited to: carrying out outreach efforts aimed at consumers, working with civil society organizations, identifying influential campaign supporters, translations and communications materials, outreach to the egg and pig industry and academic institutions, organization of events and workshops, and representing hsi in public events and conferences. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, be highly motivated, and able to work well as a team and independently. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, veterinary sciences, communications, or other relevant area, as well as fluency in english is required. Preference will be given to candidates with at least seven years of experience in not-for-profit sector and at least 3-5 years in campaign management, preferably in corporate outreach.
