Implement a long-Term program to reduce and eliminate conversion associated with soy production in the brazilian amazon and cerrado to 2021 and possibly beyond Work with relevant institutional players to guarantee the amazon soy moratorium to be a permanent agreement In the medium term, work to deliver an agreement around responsible soy production in the cerrado Work with sectoral organizations and major soy companies, with support of the zdf science team, to ensure they implement effective conversion monitoring technologies along all soy supply chains in the amazon and cerrado Promote the disclosure of analysis and tool, created by tnc or partners, to relevant sector stakeholders Work with sectoral organizations and major soy companies to ensure that realistic planning to increase the supply of responsible soy in response to demand takes place, aligned with cfa operational guidance and accountability framework initiative Engage with brazilian civil society organizations active in the soy space and relevant sectoral platforms to help deliver the results outlined above Ensure cfa and reverte work on developing business cases for responsible soy production and innovative financial mechanisms for responsible soy producers engages soy market players, and helps to engage them in initiatives aimed to increase the flow of investment to responsible soy production Document and monitor work in all the areas above for use in national, regional and global forums relevant to responsible soy production, as required Work with companies and sector organizations to develop clear timetables to eliminate conversion from soy value chains Work to advance harmonized sector-Wide stepwise commitments to only source conversion-Free soy across their entire supply chain, based on business cases and underpinned by robust corporate policies and practices Support the adoption of pre-Competitive approaches by companies including facilitating their participation in relevant working groups Manage a range of institutional relationships internal and external to the conservancy necessary for the delivery of agreed cfa and reverte outputs around responsible soy supply, including: Participating in and maintaining collaborative working relationships with colleagues from peer co-Architect cfa organizations wwf and nwf, including playing a key role in cross-Institutional work teams focused on specific cfa outputs related to responsible soy Representing tnc in key soy sector platforms and spaces, and working with key individual soy companies on a pre-Competitive basis, to move them towards productive collaboration with cfa and reverte Monitoring sub-Grantee and implementation partner performance on contracts funded by cfa, intervening with sensitivity when appropriate to ensure timely delivery of agreed outputs Coordinating effectively and transparently with all conservancy programs, including regional and global operating units of the conservancy also involved in cfa implementation Participate in the cfa weekly leadership call bringing in updates related to the soy sector in brazil Responding rapidly to demands for information from conservancy staff involved in communications efforts around cfa and reverte projects Implementing as required an agreed monitoring and evaluation framework for tracking levels of responsible soy production in the amazon and cerrado, as well as other m&e information that may be required by the funding organization and/or the cfa project manager from time to time Guiding and collaborating with peer soy sector coordinators in argentina and elsewhere in latin america, with whom you will have a dotted line relationship.
