Quality engineer - Bellingham/wa estado: spcidade: são paulo we are looking for american citizens or candidates with work permit summary: lead the quality activities within new product development projects, supporting the implementation of quality mindset to the entire project teams, guiding the team to identify potential failures in an earlier stages of product development utilizing quality tools and lessons learned. Support the identification of project risks and required actions to mitigate them and problem solving focusing on effective and robust technical solutions. Escolaridade: ensino superior completo experiências: essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Drive the quality mindset within project teams. 2. Assure preventive quality processes are followed for new projects. 3. Drive project teams to flawless project execution using the risk assessment process to manage priorities and collaboration of cross functional teams. 4. Develop and define project quality plans based on apqp process. 5. Coach and train co-Workers on quality methods and tools. 6. Manage project teams to follow npi and quality procedures. 7. Identify opportunities for improvements within the project life cycle process. 8. Develop, implement and monitor quality kpis 9. Develop and support development of new components/process with supplier, drive for excellence in part quality. 10. Coordinate and drive problem solving activities within the projects. 11. Guide and drive process quality activities in the manufacturing environment in preparation for series production utilizing msa, R, ptr process 12. Coordinate and manage ppap dossiers in preparation for series production 13. Support firmware development lifecycle 14. Support development activities of hardware supplier and cms, troubleshooting and problem solving 15. Implement the preventive quality plan (roadmap), on each phase of development 16. Prepare and issue weekly quality status report for new projects 17. Attend and moderate design and process fmea 18. Perform and support project status audits and process audits on new production lines 19. Prepare control plans related to prototypes, pre-Production and mass production, including reinforced controls for start up phase (sop) 20. Ensure application of lessons learned relevant for the specific project 21.
