Inspire commitment to company vision, strategy, core principles, values and beliefs. Contribute to the development of the global hse&s platform and capability building framework (fx), which contains the goals and objectives, legal framework, and policies and procedures to be deployed across the organization. Provide insight derived from knowledge about and experience with the regional legal setting and best practices. Deploy and drive regionally the hse&s common platform and capability building framework in alignment with leading performance system (alps) and legal framework to deliver functional expertise and continuous improvement. Identify and address current and future business support needs, including needs for shared support in people, process, product and environmental safety in the region. Represent the hse&s function in the regional and country leadership committees and provide expertise to the regional network of supply chain and operations managers and to the regional and country directors. Participate in selection, set objectives, and provide training and clear, open, and constructive feedback on performance for site hse&s business partners. Develop talent and succession planning. Facilitate cooperation between coe and local management. Train and support regional and site management to reduce exposure to risk and liabilities (people safety, process, and security incidents) and to achieve sustainability goals. Provide support in developing and executing regional and site-Specific safety improvement plans (sips). Facilitate networks for and promote best practice sharing across sites. Review, advice, and approve hse&s chapters in capex appropriation request in order to properly regulate the environmental and safety issues and realize major improvements in safety and environment. Determine legal project requirements, plan, facilitate and conduct studies and risk analyses, and assess needed hse&s resources. Manage incidents- And incident response and learning. Lead and/ or participates in incident investigations. Provide expertise on (local) permits and hse&s audits. Participate in hse&s audits and third-Party (e.G. Contractors, tollers, warehouses) selection processes. Manage the regional hse&s integration of new acquisitions. Manage assigned related projects.
