Tax accountant / contador tributário south america based tax accountant work location: initial training will take place in mato grosso do sul. Company description: a chinese agricultural conglomerate. With the exception of growing crops, its scope covers all points of the supply chain. Company’s near-term south american targets: 1) to successfully open and operate a value-added corn processing plant in mato gross do sul 2) to expand our south american trading operations 3) to further diversify our latin american investment portfolio main task: timely file tax returns and help calculate our company’s federal and state tax estimates. Other duties: 1) prepare monthly financial reports including valuing inventories, reconciling raw material and finished goods accounts 2) support local and federal tax audits. 3) meet with members of upper management as an expert on financial matters requirements 1) a native of either argentina, brazil or uruguay 2) a fluent english speaker with writing skills being of less importance 3) hold at least a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field from a reputable university (no online degrees of any kind) 4) an accounting certification, a cpa would be a plus 5) 2 years work experience in tax accounting or a similar capacity 6) those with knowledge of the chemical, food and/or animal feed markets will be given priority.
